Extensibility

The REALbasic Framework is extensible using a plug-in architecture that enables developers to add write new functionality in C++.

The REALbasic plug-in SDK is included with REALbasic and offeres examples for:

• Visual Studio (Windows)
• Xcode (Mac OS X)
• GCC (Linux)

In addition, many prebuilt plug-ins are available for REALbasic. Some of the most popular plug-ins are available from:
